Chandni Bar 2 will release on December 3, 2026, coinciding with the anniversary of the original film. The shooting will begin in mid-2026 in Mumbai and Dubai.

Producer Sandeep Singh has officially acquired the rights for Chandni Bar 2 under his banner. The sequel is scheduled to hit theatres on December 3, 2026. This will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the original.

Announcing the sequel on his Instagram account, producer Sandeep Singh said that 'Chandni Bar' was never just a film and it was a mirror to society which is unflinching and honest. "Two decades later, the struggles of survival, dignity, and ambition are still real. With this sequel, I want to confront those truths again, telling a story that resonates with today’s generation,” said the producer.

He captioned the announcement, "25 years after redefining Indian cinema, the iconic #ChandniBar reopens. Reimagined by #SandeepSingh. A cult classic reborn, blending Mumbai’s grit with Dubai’s allure, bringing back the Power, the Soul, and the Spectacle! Directed by #AjayBahl & Produced by #LegendStudios. About Chandni Bar

Chandni Bar is a crime drama film where Tabu stars as Mumtaz. She is a young rural woman who moves to Mumbai after her family is killed in riots. Her uncle forced her to work as a dancer at the Chandni Bar to help support him. After suffering an assault by her uncle, she finds love and eventually marries a gangster named Potiya, played by Atul Kulkarni. However, she abandons her family, leaving Mumtaz to support herself and her children. The film portrays the harsh realities of the lives of bar dancers.
