John Abraham, recognized for his action and realistic movies today, was at one point objectified in Bollywood. He began his career with Jism opposite Bipasha Basu. The film became famous for their intimate scenes, and thereon, John became known as the man with the chiseled body. He did not shy away from flaunting so, the peak moment of which was in Dostana. Ever since turning a producer, though, John slowly but surely started leaning towards the action genre. Unapologetically John Abraham

John stated that he is unapologetic about flaunting his body in film. "I'm not apologetic about the body. I mean I had it in Dostana 15 years later I had it in Pathaan - just the colour of the shorts were different, one was yellow and one was white," he recalled. The actor confirmed that he would continue doing action movies, and when time calls for it, he would flaunt his body, too, unapologetically. "I'm a marketing person also. So if it was about the body, I'd market the body," the Tehran actor said

John Abraham's focus shifts to building a legacy

Blaming the media for stating 'it's about the body,' John said that a lot changed when he became a producer. His focus then shifted towards building a legacy. "I'm not going to do four films a year; I'll do one film if that's meaningful, and I'll try and make it work. Even if it doesn't, I'm okay," the actor said.
