As per the latest update from the tracking portal Sacnilk, Telusu Kada made just Rs 27 lakhs on Saturday, which is shockingly low for a weekend. With this, the total collections of the film have crossed Rs 8.5 crore net in nine days.

These are dismal numbers as Telusu Kada features popular stars like Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles. Thaman scored the music for this film, which has also failed to evoke any attention in the US.

Dude dominates Diwali 2025 Telugu releases

The other Diwali release, Dude, has dominated the box office with Rs 100 crore gross. Next in line is Kiran Abbavaram's K-Ramp. Though the film opened to dull collections, it has made decent money thanks to the mass audience.

Amidst all this, Telusu Kada has gone down badly, and there are no takers for it. Made on a decent budget, the makers will lose money, but they have struck a deal with Netflix for an early OTT release.

Telusu Kada is based on surrogacy and tells the story of a couple who opt for surrogacy, only to discover that the woman who agrees to give birth is the hero's ex-girlfriend. How all this unfolds forms the crux of the story.
