Thaai Kizhavi has bounced back after witnessing some dip at the box office. While the rural comedy drama starring Radikaa Sarathkumar had opened to good reviews and collection, it also had some dip in the collection. However, the Saturday collection of Thaai Kizhavi showed an immense bounce, making the film become the second highest grossing Tamil film this year so far, only to trail behind Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi. Thaai Kizhavi is a 2026 Tamil comedy drama featuring Radikaa Sarathkumar in the lead role. Backed by Sivakarthikeyan and directed by debutant Sivakumar Murugesan, Thaai Kizhavi is having a successful run at the box office.

Thaai Kizhavi which took a great start, began to have a dip in the mid of last week and on Friday. However, as per Sacnilk report, the Saturday collection along with up to as high as Rs 4.5 crore, taking the worldwide collection to now Rs 42.75 crore. This is a huge jump in per day earnings, given the film was witnessing around Rs 1-2 crore every day. In addition to this, Thaai Kizhavi also beat the lifetime collections of With Love (Rs 38.9 crore) and Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil (Rs 39.5 crore), making it the second highest grossing Tamil film so far this year. The highest grosser is still Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi which is in 100-crore club.
