We had earlier reported that actor and director Samuthirakani will be headlining an upcoming web series titled Thadayam. The series' trailer was released by the makers recently on social media. Billed to be a crime drama, Thadayam will stream on ZEE5 from February 27 onwards.

Thadayam trailer out: What is Samuthirakani’s web series about?

While ZEE5 has been bankrolling some web series in Tamil off late, the streaming platform's new offering is the upcoming series Thadayam. The series stars Samuthirakani in the lead role.

In the newly released trailer, it shows how a milkman goes about delivering to houses, when in one of the places, he witnesses a crime. Meanwhile at a police station we get to know that SI Athiyamaan who is assumed to be irresponsible but actually is intelligent about cases. The trailer shows Athiyamaan finding clues to get near to the killer. The killer leaves a question mark in blood. Is it for the dead or for police?

A string of brutal midnight murders taking place in villages, leaving a chilling detail behind that is the only clue for the police. As the killer steals only the sacred symbols of marriage, a newly transferred officer begins to sense a ritualistic pattern.

What is Thadayam OTT release date?

Thadayam is set to release on ZEE5 on February 27. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can also watch the series. Besides Samuthirakani, it also stars Shivada, Raj Tirandas, Munnar Ramesh, Sundharpandyan, Prem, Kotravai, Vishakan, Pulipandi, Abhishek Joseph George, Ravichandran, Karthi, Suparna, and Dayalan. The story is penned by Navinkumar who has also directed the series. KK has shot it, while the film is edited by Dinesh Kumar. Vibin Baskar has scored the music.
