Thamma is a 2025 Hindi horror-comedy film and the fifth instalment of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) after Stree Stree2, Bhediya, and Munjya. Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, follows a bloody love story.
The plot follows a journalist, Alok (Khurana), who falls for a mysterious woman, Tadaka (Mandanna), and becomes involved in a world of supernatural beings called Betaals. Their forbidden love is complicated by Yakshasan (Nawazuddin), the tyrannical leader of the Betaals, leading to a clash between the two worlds.

Alok's love for Tadaka, who is a vampire, defies the rules of the Betaal clan, which prohibits interaction or falling in love between humans and Betaals. He must face Yakshasan, who poses a threat to both the human and supernatural worlds. A central theme for the film is the blend of horror, comedy, and romance. The film explores a love story using supernatural elements while also bursting with humour.
