While Ayushmann Khurrana’s vampire horror comedy film leads with double the collection of Harshvardhan Rane’s passionate romantic drama, the competition is set to get stiff with Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic movies re-releasing in the theaters. On Day 11, Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy film minted Rs 3 crore on the second Friday (early estimates). Thamma’s total collection now stands at Rs 111.40 crore on October 31, according to Sacnilk. It will be interesting to see if Ayushmann’s film will continue with its pace or will fade with SRK’s classic re-releases like Om Shanti Om, Jawan, Chennai Express, and others.

Milap Zaveri’s fierce romance drama featuring Harshvardhane Rane and Sonam Bajwa raked in an impressive Rs 2.50 crore despite tough competition with Thamma. After eleven days of its theatrical collection, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat collected Rs 57.65 crore, as per Sacnilk’s data. This is almost half of Thamma’s overall net collection but still touches a milestone for the Sanam Teri Kasam star, as it turned out to be the highest-grossing film of his career. The movie is maintaining its pace and is expected to hit the Rs 60 crore mark soon.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Thamma had an overall Hindi occupancy of 13.30%, while Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat covered an occupancy of 12.63% on October 31, i.e. the second Friday. Both the movies observed the highest occupancy at night with 17.18% (Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat) and 21.73% (Thamma).
