Thammudu's Hindi version locks OTT release date: Where to stream Nithiin's action drama

Thammudu is Nithiin's new film that is available for streaming on Netflix in all the Southern languages. But the Hindi version was unavailable and will drop soon.

Tollywood star Nithiin is going through a low phase in his career as some of his last few films have bombed at the box office. Post the debacle of Robinhood, he pinned a lot of hopes on his last release Thammudu, which was directed by Venul Sriram of Vakeel Saab fame.

Everything about the project was quite good as the trailer created decent hype for the action drama. But the moment Thammudu hit the screens, it disappointed one and all with its poor narrative. Well, the action drama is now streaming on Netflix in all the South languages but is unavailable in Hindi.

We at OTTplay have come to know that the Hindi version of Thammudu will be available on JioHotstar from September 12, 2025. You can also stream the film on OTTplay Premium. Saptami Gowda of Kantara fame played the female lead in this film, and Thammudu was her Telugu debut.

Thammudu marks the comeback of actress Laya to Tollywood

Thammudu was also special as it brought back yesteryear actress Laya to the big screen after a gap of almost a decade. The survival thriller was made on a massive budget and was backed by Dil Raju. The Telugu distributors lost out on a huge amount of money, thanks to the bad word of mouth.
