Thandel, Naga Chaitanya's latest film, has been declared a smash hit at the box office. The romantic drama has now completed nine days in theaters, earning a Rs 56 crore share. With this, the film has broken even, and whatever it earns from here on will be pure profit for the makers.

Thandel's latest collections are here

Allu Aravind, the film's producer, is seeing massive returns with Thandel. On its ninth day, the film collected Rs 2.7 crore worldwide, a decent number. Since it is a crucial Sunday, the collections are expected to rise again. Fortunately, no major films were released this week, and the two that did—Laila and Brahma Anandam—have flopped, offering no competition to Thandel.

This marks Naga Chaitanya's first-ever Rs 100 crore film, and he is ecstatic about its success. Having dedicated two years to the project without signing another film, his hard work has paid off. On the other hand, Sai Pallavi has added yet another super hit to her career, with fans praising her performance in Thandel.

Thandel becomes Naga Chaitanya's career biggest hit

DSP has composed the music, and all the songs have become chartbusters, giving the film a strong opening at the box office. Thandel has also boosted Naga Chaitanya’s market value, as evidenced by the film’s OTT rights. Netflix has acquired the digital rights for a whopping Rs 55 crore, securing profits for the makers even before its streaming release.

Allu Aravind, a shrewd businessman, marketed the film in such a way that its post-theatrical rights fetched a significant amount. Now, all eyes are on how the film performs once weekdays begin. On the other hand, Chay has already moved on to his next film. Stay tuned for more updates on this blockbuster!
