Shah Rukh discussed the impact of Bobby's early career on him during the trailer launch of Aryan's web series. Ahead of the Barsaat release, the superstar remembered seeing Bobby's poster close to Juhu Beach. SRK called him "handsome" and said that he aspired to be a "superstar" like the actor. Shah Rukh's home banner produced Bobby's OTT debut, Class of '83 which strengthened their professional relationship even though the two never appeared on screen together as co-actors.
As Bobby entered his second act as an actor, he gave Shah Rukh credit for being there for him. He went on to compare Aryan to the superstar, saying that both are grounded and humble. Bobby remarked, "Shah Rukh’s a humble man who’s very sure of himself. He doesn’t need the acknowledgement of the world for that. That’s why he is what he is. And that’s exactly how Aryan is. There’s so much similarity between them in that manner."
At the preview event, Shah Rukh had been quite complimentary, and this made Bobby think. As he reflected on the experience, he remembered the superstar's kind words about how beautiful he looked in his poster and how much the superstar adored his sunglasses, although Bobby was still unsure of their colour.
Bobby has full faith that Shah Rukh will always be there for his children, Aryaman and Dharam, too, and he praised the actor's poise. Bobby stated, "He didn’t need to tell me that but woh toh uska badaappan hai (but that's his greatness). When someone like him gives you so much importance and love, it really feels good. He feels those feelings towards me more so because I’m a part of his son’s first-ever show. Both of us know how important it is to be there for our kid."
Bobby was very complimentary of the Khans overall. It was at the same time that Shah Rukh and he began their careers. Being a part of his life and that of his son, whom he adores, has been a blessing for the actor. On both a personal and professional level, Bobby holds Aryan in high esteem. The familiarity with that family is a wonderful comfort. He also said they know how vital it is to help each other's kids.
Bobby had nothing but praise for Aryan's attitude on set, saying that the first-time director respected his opinions and continued the discipline his parents had taught him. He didn't spend much time with Aryan when he was a kid, but he did see him as he grew older. Bobby further said that his maturation into a decent young guy is remarkable, in his opinion. He ended by praising Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan for their excellent parenting of Aryan and their other children, Suhana and AbRam Khan.
