Umesh Bist’s The Trial season 2 focuses on Noyonika Sengupta, played by Kajol. While the previous season was about her husband Rajiv (Jissu Sengupta) getting arrested over a scandal, this time Noyonika's daughter gets dragged into the matter. Rajiv's enemies take over and Noyonika has to battle them as a mother, lawyer and a woman seeking justice.
