Ajith's looks in Thunivu

The much-awaited update Ajith fans have been waiting for several months is here. The star's ongoing project with H Vinoth has been officially titled Thunivu. The movie was tentatively titled AK 61 ever since the film was announced by makers. The first look poster unveiled by producer Boney Kapoor has left fans of the actor and other film lovers thrilled.

The hardcore fans of Ajith Kumar are going gaga over their favourite star's calm and composed posture in the poster. The actor seen wielding a PP-19 Bizon gun and sporting stylish goggles is "mass overloaded" for his fans, and many of them have been taking to Twitter to express their excitement.

While a few feel that the poster brought back the "vintage Ajith" they have been missing for some time, there are those who expressed eagerness for the second look poster which is expected to be unveiled tomorrow. Some others were happy participating in Twitter trends with hashtags #AjithKumar, #Thunivu, #AK, #Ajith and #AK61.

Many fans of the actor are looking forward to watching the character he plays in the movie as there is news that Ajith will be depicting a role which has grey shades.

Samuthirakani, John Kokken and Prem Kumar who are playing crucial characters in the film took to their Twitter pages to post the first look poster of Thunivu, and fans barged into comment sections of their tweets and wished them success and requested them to convey regards to Ajith.

Then there were others who put up posts displaying huge banners of the first look poster as soon as it was released by the team in the evening.

Fans who gathered at a popular theatre in Tirunelveli, which screened the first look poster, celebrated the occasion by dancing on streets, while a few fans in Bangalore performed paal abhishekam to the poster.
