Tovino Thomas had earlier told OTTplay, "In Malayalam cinema, we work with a lot of constraints, so we had to rush and finish the movie. If we had had a few more months before release, we could have approached the producers and distributors, and other industries, and released it in a bigger way. But, now the film is getting good word of mouth. We want people from all over India to watch this movie and I hope everyone can relate to it. They're going to like it, and they're going to spread the word."
