With the makers of Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups unveiling the character posters of each of the cast member, the latest to drop is of Nayanthara’s. Her look as Ganga, decked in black and black, suave outfit, was released on social media on Wednesday.

We had already reported that Nayanthara will be starring in the upcoming pan-Indian flick Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups starring actor Yash in the lead role. In the recent days, the makers of Toxic had released the posters of Kiara Advani and Huma Qureshi from the film. Joining this, Nayanthara’s look from the film was unveiled. Nayanthara, who will be pairing up with the KGF star for the first time, will be playing the role of Ganga, in the highly anticipated film.

Decked in a black dress with thigh-high slit and boots, Nayanthara wields a shooter against the backdrop of what looks like a high-profile, secured cassino with securities by her sides. In what looks like a lethal, stunning and formidable force, Nayanthara sports a poker face as she looks straight into the camera.

Geetu Mohandas, the director of Toxic, said about casting Nayanthara in a statement, “The depth, the honesty, the restraint, and the emotional clarity she brought were not performances layered on top of the character, they were qualities she already possessed. I found my Ganga, so brilliantly performed by her, and even more unexpectedly, I found a dear friend.”

What do we know about Yash’s Toxic?

The makers of Toxic have locked the release date. It is all set to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. The film is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas with the latter taking up the direction responsibilities as well. Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, with the release planned in dubbed versions, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages.

The technical crew of Toxic includes Rajeev Ravi cranking the camera and Ravi Basrur scoring the music. Ujwal Kulkarni is handling the edits. Billed to be a high-octane actioner, Hollywood action director JJ Perry, duo Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee have worked on the stunts.
