Toxic: As fans count down to the Yash film’s release date of March 19, 2026, the character posters of two Toxic actors - Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair - were revealed by the Rocking Star.

The Kannada film Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups is without a doubt one of the most-anticipated movies of the year, which also boasts of a rather unique director-actor collaboration of Yash and Geetu Mohandas. As fans count down to the film’s release date of March 19, 2026, the character posters of two Toxic actors - Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair - were revealed by the Rocking Star.

What are the roles of Sudev Nair, Akshay Oberoi in Yash’s Toxic

The first character poster to be revealed from Toxic was that of actor Sudev Nair on February 23 afternoon. Yash revealed that the Malayalam actor will be playing Karmadi in Toxic, and also revealed a poster of firing arms.

Later on Monday, Yash next dropped the poster of Akshay Oberoi as Tony. The actor had a mildly baffled look on his face even as the foreground featured packs of injured human bodies. Both actors were dressed in vintage style for the action-packed movie, which is said to be set in the 1950s.

Director Geetu Mohandas also shared both character posters, along with a personal note showering high praise. She penned a very strong emotional note

Highlighting how important the casting of Karmadi was, Geetu, "He (Sudev Nair) brought a quiet strength to every frame — depth without display, emotion without excess — and on set, he led gently, simply by example. I believe talent alone doesn't take you far — good people do. And Sudev is not just here to stay, but to truly thrive."

About Akshay, Geetu said that working with him reminded her why she enjoyed directing actors so much. “Akshay genuinely enjoys acting. Even in the most intense, complex moments, there’s a sense of discovery in him. Watch out for this talent because he’s gonna kill it,” she remarked.

Last week, the makers released the character of Yash, but the KFG star got a video introduction instead of a poster reveal. Toxic is set to clash with Hindi film Dhurandhar 2, starring Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, on March 19, 2026. A Malayalam film, Aadu 3 is also releasing on the same date, though it is not in the same league as these highly-anticipated movies.
