Post the opening of theatres in Tamil Nadu after the second lockdown, Red Giant Movies has acquired theatrical rights of a few notable projects. Prabhas' Radhe Shyam was the last movie they had acquired. According to Udhayanidhi, it was the stunning visuals and making which made him purchase its theatrical rights.

Meanwhile, it is heard that the overseas rights of Beast have been sold for 32 crores and Telugu rights for 11 crores. It is yet to be known who will acquire the film's Kerala and Karnataka rights. The much-awaited Yash-starrer KGF 2 is arriving a day later, on April 14, and movie lovers are excited about the big clash at the box office.

Though Beast will have an upper hand in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, KGF 2 is supposed to dominate the box office in Karnataka and Telugu states.
