Based on true incidents, the movie adaptation of Benyamin's novel Aadujeevitham revolves around a Malayali migrant worker named Najeeb who travels to Saudi Arabia and is forced to work as a slave. With limited access to food and water, Najeeb's life echoes that of his co-habitants - the goats and camels of the masara - till he finally decides to make a break for it - putting his life at risk.

Maharani

Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko play brothers in this family entertainer, helmed by G Marthandan. The movie revolves around the incidents that transpire in a neighbourhood in Cherthala after a girl goes missing and her family gives her boyfriend a day to bring her back. What happens next form the plot of the movie, which also has Johny Antony and Harisree Ashokan.
