Minnale – February 13

the 2001 romantic drama which is the directorial debut Gautham Vasudev Menon, comes back to theatres one more time. Starring Madhavan, Reema Sen and Abbas in the lead roles, Minnale is one of the iconic romantic dramas of modern-day Tamil cinema. The film revolves around a man who impersonates the identity of another man, to impress a girl and take the latter's place as a possible alliance for her. Minnale had went on to become a blockbuster success and was remade in Hindi as Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Harris Jayaraj's songs in the film were instant chartbusters and remain to be evergreen songs.

Uyir Ulla Varai Usha – February 13

Uyir Ulla Varai Usha is a 1983 film written, directed, starring and composed by T Rajendar. Starring Saritha, Ganga, Nalini, Radha Ravi and others, Uyir Ulla Varai Usha was remade in several languages. Announcing the film’s re-release, Silambarasan TR called the film having ‘raw emotion, powerful performances and unforgettable musical moments’.

Mounam Pesiyadhey – February 13

Mounam Pesiyadhey is a 2002 romantic drama film which stars Suriya and Trisha in her debut lead role. Directed by Ameer, Mounam Pesiyadhey is about a man who falls for his friend's cousin. However, problems crop up when the cousin's parents want their son to get married to the girl, forming a love triangle. Actors Nandha, Neha Pendse, and others are part of the cast, with music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Kadhalar Dhinam – February 14

Kadhalar Dhinam is a 1999 romantic drama film which is directed by Kathir. With late actor Kunal and Sonali Bendre in the lead roles, Kadhalar Dhinam is set in Mumbai where two youngsters of the same college fall in love through computer chatting. As they don't see each other for a long time, their romance is put into test when the young man comes to know of her identity. Written and directed by Kathir and featuring AR Rahman's music, the ensemble cast includes Nasser, Goundamani, Manivannan and others.

Veeram – February 13

Veeram is a 2014 Tamil romantic comedy action film, written and directed by Siva, and stars Ajith Kumar in the lead role. Featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, Vidharth, Bala, Santhanam, Nassar, Pradeep Rawat and Atul Kulkarni, among others, the film revolves around an elder brother who is protective of his four younger brothers. He decides that he will not get married, fearing the woman might cause disharmony among the siblings. But when each of the brother have secret lovers, they must convince their elder brother to fall for his childhood crush and unite with her.
