A couple of days ago, actor Vijay met a few of his fan club members at the outskirts of Chennai and served them with biryani. The photos of him arriving at his home at Panaiyur and videos of fans cheering have been doing the rounds on social media.

Unsurprisingly, the incident led to online fan fights between admirers of Vijay and Ajith on Twitter. They started trending different hashtags on social media as their films Varisu and Thunivu are expected to have a clash at the box office in January 2023.

The latest on the fan meet is that Vijay has been imposed a fine of ₹500 for traveling in his car which has a tinted glass on it. The traffic police has issued the fine for flouting rules after a few people pointed out the violation on social media.

They tagged the Twitter handle of Greater Chennai Traffic Police after which they initiated an action. The rule came into existence a few years ago after the Supreme Court issued an order to remove tinted glass from vehicles. The actor hit the headlines earlier this year when the Commercial Tax Department of Tamil Nadu asked him to pay entrance tax for importing Rolls Royce Ghost from the US. However, the case was resolved a few months ago.

Meanwhile, there are reports that the team of Varisu, starring the actor in lead, would be in trouble as they are said to have used an elephant for a crucial sequence in the film without obtaining permission from wildlife authorities.

The movie is slated for a huge release in Tamil and Telugu versions. Though the latter version's release has courted controversy, it looks like makers are expected to come up with an amicable decision.
