The collaboration of Vijay and Silambarasan will surely leave both their fans excited. They are now curious  to know the genre of the song. Going by its title, it looks like the song is likely to be a fan-pleasing number with repeat-worthy tunes from Thaman.

A few exhibitors in Tamil Nadu have started confirming the screening of Varisu in their theatres for the Pongal festival. Seven Screen Studio has bagged the film's theatrical rights while Amazon Prime Video has acquired its digital rights.

The film, touted as a family drama, brings together Vijay and Prakash Raj after more than a decade's hiatus. The movie is expected to be released in a huge number of theatres in Telugu states as well.

Varisu is Vijay's Pongal release after a two-year hiatus. Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master was his last film which was released for the much-anticipated festival.
