Varisu star Thalapathy Vijay attends Priya Atlee's grand baby shower event, leaves fans enthralled

The regular updates from Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu is making his fans elated. The movie will be released on January 12, and he is set to meet his fans at the much-awaited audio launch of the project soon. As if this isn't enough, some of his fans got a glimpse of him when he attended a private event recently.

The star was present at the baby shower event of Atlee's wife Priya the other day. The couple had announced their pregnancy news to their fans a few days ago. Atlee's colleagues and well-wishers showered them with good health and wishes.

Vijay was spotted wearing a blue shirt and black trousers at the affair and his pics and videos started going viral on social media. It is known that the star shares a close rapport with the filmmaker. The latter had shared a picture of him posing for a photo with the star and Shah Rukh Khan recently.

Vijay and Atlee worked together in Theri, Mersal and Bigil, three films which were box office hits in 2016, 2017 and 2019 respectively. Many fans are eagerly looking forward to them teaming up for the fourth time. In fact, there is speculation of the duo joining hands for a project to be bankrolled under Sun Pictures after Thalapathy 67.

For now, all eyes are on Varisu, the Pongal outing which will be released as Vaarasudu in Telugu. The reservation for the movie has begun in the US, and has taken a decent start, going by the booking.

Red Giant Movies and Seven Screen Studio are distributing the film across Tamil Nadu. Amazon Prime Video bagged the movie's digital rights a while ago.
