Veetla Vishesham is one project which piqued the curiousity of Tamil film lovers despite being the fact that it is an official remake of Bollywood movie Badhaai Ho. RJ Balaji was roped in to play the lead in the project, apart from being at its helm along with NJ Saravanan.

Veteran B'town producer Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects has bankrolled the film which was released in theatres on June 17. The makers have now come up with an update on its OTT premiere as the project is about to celebrate one month of its release in movie halls.

What's Veetla Vishesham about?

The movie revolves around the insecurities of a youngster in his late 20s after he gets to know that his parents are going to give birth to another child. How he is worried about people in the society making fun of him forms the rest of the story.

Though a remake of Badhaai Ho, a few notable changes have been made to the Tamil version of the film. Veetla Vishesham is regarded as one of the successful Tamil movies of the year, thanks to encouraging response from critics and the audience alike.

When and where to watch Veetla Vishesham online?

The film will drop on July 15 on Zee5. Producer Boney took to his Twitter page to announce the same with the post, "Elated to announce that the biggest family entertainer will be releasing on the 15th of July. Watch it only on #Zee5 Premium. Launching the trailer today at 5pm on Zee5, stay tuned (sic)."

Veetla Vishesham is the second joint directorial venture of Balaji and Saravanan after Mookuthi Amman which had a direct release in 2020. The former has Sathyaraj, Urvashi, Aparna Balamurali, Yogi Babu and KPAC Lalitha among others essaying pivotal characters in it.
