Titled Hisaab, the filmmaker has roped in Jaideep Ahlawat and Shefali Shah for the movie, adding to the excitement for the project. Vipul Shah, who got to witness the craft of OTT stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Shefali Shah up close through his upcoming movie Hisaab, describes them as ‘the pair to watch out for.’ The filmmaker describes them to Mid-Day as, “Jaideep and Shefali are two phenomenal actors who can deliver performances with ease and depth. [No matter] whether they have done Three of Us or 30 films together, they will be a pair to watch out for. The scenes light up when they are together, and it’s beautiful for me as a director to watch it happen.”

The filmmaker shared how he wanted to make another heist film after Aankhen, but never found the right idea till Hisaab happened. The only giveaway he has for the upcoming film is that it is ‘as unique a story as Aankhen was.’ Admitting it took him a long time to crack Hisaab, Vipul also addresses the comparisons to his previous movie as he shares, “Comparisons with Aankhen are unavoidable, though there is nothing common between the two films [except] the bank robbery. So, we wanted to make something that had strong content.”

Vipul Shah is expected to announce Hisaab release date after his movie The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is out in theatres.
