Pepping Moon reported that Sidharth Malhotra is set to begin shooting for Vvan: Force of the Forest on October 24 in Mumbai. The production of this mythological folk thriller is resuming after the first schedule was disrupted in June due to creative differences between Sidharth and director Deepak Mishra.

The actor had some objections to the script, which have now been fixed after extensive revisions. As things have resolved now, the team will resume the project. On the other hand, Maniesh Paul, who's currently seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Sunil Grover, the star comedian of The Great Indian Kapil Show, and Shweta Tiwari who was recently seen in Prime Video's Do You Wanna Partner, have joined the cast of Vvan.
