War 2 Box Office collection day 4: Hrithik Roshan-Jr. NTR's film holds poor on first weekend, yet to enter Rs 200 crore club

While Ayan Mukerji's War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles, started strong, the film saw a drop over the first weekend, owing to which it now struggles for Rs 200 crore club.

Ayan Mukerji-directed War 2 might have opened well, but the movie had a disastrous run over the first weekend. While most movies see a significant rise over the first weekend, the movie starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles saw a massive drop in Box Office on its first weekend. Thanks to that, it could not even enter Rs. 200 crore club despite earning Rs. 100 crores within the first two days of its release.

War 2's fourth day i.e. first Sunday Box Office was just as bad as Saturday. The movie started earning below Rs. 30 crore, while it had minted above Rs. 50 crore on the first two days. The Sunday Box Office collection for War 2 is approximately Rs. 31 crore, according to Sacnilk. This takes the total of the movie to Rs. 173.60 crore.

War 2's Hindi and Telugu version both register low occupancy

Despite the initial craze for their idols Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, War 2 did not work in either Hindi version or Telugu version over the first weekend. Interestingly enough, the Tamil version showed 46.21% occupancy in comparison to Telugu's 32.45% and Hindi's 33.09% occupancy.

Coolie Box Office collection day 4

Interestingly, same was the case with Rajnikanth's Coolie. The film did not enter Rs. 200 crore club either despite the initial hype. It, too, earned below Rs. 40 crore over the first weekend, which has affected the overall Box Office collection for the movie.
