War 2 Trailer OUT: Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR introduce a high-stake face-off; Kiara Advani gives major lady boss vibes

War 2 Trailer OUT: Hrithik Roshan, Jr NT, and Kiara Advani's upcoming action-thriller is going to be filled with lot of action sequences. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji.

War 2 is one of the most-awaited films of 2025 and it has been gaining buzz ever since it was announced along with posters. The second instalment stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani in lead roles. After a long wait, the makers finally unveiled the trailer for War 2, and it is all things action.

On July 25, the makers released the trailer for War 2. The 2-minute and 36-second trailer starts with Hrithik's Kabir and Jr. NTR's characters making vows to be more violent and take revenge.

While Kabir is ready to sacrifice his name and identity to fight evil, he said, “Jab koi nahi ladh sakta, tab main ladhunga. On the other hand, Jr NTR comes with a bold entry. The video shows bullets flying, they face off each other, punches hitting hard, and more action sequences.

Meanwhile, the trailer not only gives a glimpse of Kiara Advani's character and hints at her brilliant chemistry with Kabir, but also showcases her action skills. Its also been noticed that Kiara is playing the daughter of Colonel Luthra.

Apart from them, the trailer also gave a peek into Tiger Shroff's character and Kabir promising to take revenge for his death.

Taking to Instagram, YRF shared the trailer and wrote, "Get ready for the storm, the WAR begins now! #War2Trailer is out! #War2 releasing in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil on August 14th in cinemas worldwide!"

Ayan Mukerji pens a note

A few days ago, Ayan penned a long note on social media. He wrote, "EXCITING TIMES. With the Release of our Movie’s Teaser a few days ago, and 12 weeks to go before our Big Beautiful Movie hits Theatres, feels like the right time for me to share some thoughts…While our movie has so much to offer our audiences with its big-screen spectacle energy."

Sharing what inspired him most about War 2, Ayan said that the core of this movie is a very powerful and dramatic story, which surprised him the first time he heard its script, and has been extremely exciting and challenging for him to bring to life.

He also shared that he wants to put out some love for the amazing team he has had the privilege of collaborating with on this movie.

Meanwhile, War 2 is set to hit theatres on August 14. It is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Directed by Ayan Mukherji, the upcoming action thriller is the sixth instalment in the Yash Raj Spy Universe following Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2023) and Tiger 3 (2023).
