While talking to Siddharth Kannan, Vaani Kapoor was asked if she ever felt like she should have been a part of the second war. She said, "No, I wish them the best. I feel incredibly grateful that I at least got the opportunity to be a part of a film like War, the OG War. It is looking beautiful. It is cinematic. It is larger than life. Kudos to the team."
She quirkily opened up about the fate of her and Tiger's characters in the action thriller. "Me, Sid (director Sidharth Anand), and Tiger are all not there in the sequel. Tiger and I both passed away in War. So I said, if Tiger comes back, I’m coming back too, my friend," she added.
War 2 is an action thriller, the sequel to the 2019 film War. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Kabir, an intelligence officer. In War 2, he is seemingly a rogue agent and considered India's greatest villain. The story revolves around a new threat to the nation, and India sends a deadly agent (Jr. NTR) to neutralize Kabir. The film also stars Kiara Advani in a reportedly spy role.
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, will hit theaters on August 14, 2025.
Speaking about Mandala Murders, it is a dark, Hindi crime thriller series based on the mysterious city of Charandaspur, where a series of religious murders are linked to a centuries-old secret society and a buried prophecy.
Detectives Rhea Thomas (played by Vaani Kapoor) and Vikram Singh (played by Vaibhav Raj Gupta) investigate the murder and uncover a hidden world of dark traditions and deadly conspiracies. The series will be released on Netflix on July 25, 2025.
