Ken Karunaas’ Youth is gearing up for release in March. The film will have a theatrical outing first before debuting on streaming platform. While Youth marks the directorial debut of Ken, who will also play as the main lead for the first time, a major OTT player has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. Ken Karunaas-starrer Youth will stream on Netflix post its big screen run.

Youth OTT release: Where to stream Ken Karunaas’ debut film?

Actor Ken Karunaas who was seen in films like Asuran and Vaathi as supporting character, is all set to make his lead acting debut. Titled Youth, the trailer was released by the makers recently. Besides acting, Ken has also written and directed the film.

With the film first slated for a theatrical release, it will then stream on Netflix. Tentatively, Youth is expected to stream sometime in mid of April, and will be available in multiple languages. Youth, which features a relatively fresh cast and crew, has bagged a biggie as its streaming partner with the satellite rights already sold, thanks to its positive word of mouth even before its release.

With Yash’s Toxic out of box office competition, Youth will be the only prominent Tamil release cashing in the Eid weekend, if it is able to withstand the Hindi film’s impact.

Borrowing its title from Youth the 2002 film starring Vijay, the upcoming film is billed to be a school-based rom-com, and revolves around the themes of romance, coming-of-age, and parental love. Anishma Anilkumar who was recently seen in Sirai, Meenakshi Dinesh of Love Marriage fame, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Devadarshini and others appear in supporting roles. GV Prakash has scored music for the film.
