Like Kota Factory, Netflix's Hello Bachhon focuses on the intense pressure, dedication, and challenges students face, encouraging viewers to persevere through their own academic struggles, while highlighting the teacher's struggles as well. In Hello Bachhon, Alakh Pandey, portrayed by Vineet Kumar Singh, starts by providing free, high-quality physics lectures on YouTube, later offering courses for only a few thousand rupees, which was significantly cheaper than conventional coaching centres.

Pandey is known for breaking down complex physics concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language, often using relatable, real-life examples. He built a large, loyal student base by focusing on making advice, compassion, and education accessible, which helped him build a "zero-hater" reputation.

Thus, he created PhysicsWallah, with the help of Prateek Maheshwari (played by Vikram Kochhar). He is the primary person who helped Alakh Pandey turn his YouTube channel into the unicorn edtech startup, Physics Wallah (PW). As co-founder, Maheshwari provided the technical expertise, building the app and business model in 2020 while Pandey focused on content and pedagogy.

Hello Bachhon has 5 episodes, and each episode has different stories featuring struggling students who find peace and understand the basic rules of life through Alakh's online classes. The journey of Alakh Pandey truly proves that a person should have courage, a bit of delusional mind, and unyielding perseverance, through which they can find the key to success. Alakh started from zero, and even though his father was a bit against his will, Alakh continued to follow his heart.

His portrayal emphasises the technical talent, patience, and strategic thinking required behind the scenes, while simultaneously maintaining a supportive and sympathetic demeanour towards Alakh.
