The International Cricket Council (ICC) is yet to announce the fixtures for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 starting on February 7. The tournament will consist of 20 teams, divided into four groups to play the first stage. The eight qualified teams will then play in the Super 8 and then will head to the knockout stage.

Amidst the schedule announcement, India and Pakistan are reportedly grouped together once again. They’ll play in the same group, and the match is scheduled on February 15 in Colombo. Since Pakistan will not travel to India due to differences between the countries, their match in particular will be hosted by Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, India, Pakistan, the USA, the Netherlands, and Namibia are in the same group.

As per ESPNCricinfo, India’s first match will be against the USA. The rest of the schedule is yet to be released by ICC later today, November 25 at 6.30 PM. The schedule will be announced on JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network.

The schedule announcement for the T20 World Cup 2026 will feature India’s former captain Rohit Sharma, current T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, women’s skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, and Sri Lankan legend Angelo Mathews. They are likely to announce the fixture for the marquee event.

Reports suggest that the final will be scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. But if Pakistan qualify, there will be a change in the venue. Due to political differences, Pakistan will not travel to India and will play their games in Sri Lanka. The fans can wait for the official confirmation from ICC regarding the venues and the fixtures.
