Rohit Sharma, the world's No. 1-ranked ODI batter, reminded everyone why he's still the 'Hitman' at 38, blasting a blistering 62-ball century (8x4, 8x6) to power Mumbai to a commanding total against Sikkim in their Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite Group C clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on Wednesday.

Fresh from a stunning ODI series against Australia in Down Under, followed by an incredible series against South Africa at home, the former India captain reminded everyone why he is still the number one-ranked ODI batter in the world with a century against Sikkim in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
More than 2,000 fans gathered at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium to watch the Indian Open in action, and Rohit did not disappoint them. Rohit, who came to bat at his favourite opening spot, first reached his 50 in just 28 balls and showed a masterclass of shots to the fans present at the stadium.
He then quickly increased his scoring rate and reached his 37th List-A century in just 62 balls with 8 fours and 8 sixes.

Earlier, Mumbai's bowlers restricted Sikkim to 236/7. Shardul Thakur (6-0-19-2) struck early, dismissing Amit Rajera (0) and Kranthi Kumar (34).
Tushar Deshpande (8-0-32-1) and Musheer Khan (10-1-37-1) chipped in, while Tanush Kotian (9-0-63-1) and Shams Mulani (10-0-51-1) maintained pressure.

Ashish Thapa top-scored with 79 (87b, 8x4), adding 106 with Kranthi Kumar. Robin Limboo (31*) fought late. Sikkim posted 236/7 in 50 overs to give Mumbai a modest challenge.
Raghuvanshi anchored with 38 off 58 before falling lbw to Ankur Malik at 141/1 (19.4 ov). Musheer Khan joined Rohit as Mumbai got close to a comfortable win.
Sikkim's bowlers toiled without joy. Ankur Malik (3-0-31-1) got the lone breakthrough, while Palzor Tamang (5-2-28-0), Gurinder Singh (5-0-37-0), and Kranthi Kumar (3-0-29-0) leaked boundaries.
