At the same time, the actor left everyone impressed with his fine acting skills while playing the titular role in the web series. Recently, when OTTplay interviewed Pratik, the actor exclusively told us that Scam 1992 changed everything in his life.

While Pratik gained popularity because of Scam 1992, the actor did a lot of Gujarati films in the past. However, the tables turned for him in the industry after the massive success of Scam 1992, which was released in 2020.
Speaking about his life after his Hindi web show, the actor told OTTplay, "That project gave me everything and changed everything in my life. It suddenly put me on national and international platforms. People started recognising me and my work. Now, they have a lot of faith in my craft also. There is a lot of excitement around me and in working with me. So, it is the best phase of an actor's life."
Pratik Gandhi on his initial set of struggles
On being asked about the initial struggles of his journey as an actor, Pratik added, "The most difficult part of that journey was to reach out to the correct person and project at the right time. I had no clue about whom to meet, how to approach, or where auditions happen - I had no idea. I came from a small town, Surat. I had no exposure as such. The only exposure I had in my hometown was theatre and that's my comfort. Yaha aakar bhi sabse pehle I kept doing theatre. Through theatre, I met a lot of people and got a lot of opportunities. There was no shortcut for me ever. I had to climb every step and that made my experience rich."
On the work front for Pratik
Meanwhile, Pratik Gandhi recently turned host for Amazon miniTV's web series, Crimes Aaj Kal Season 2. The show premiered on the platform on December 22, 2023. Besides this project, the actor has a couple of Hindi movies, including Woh Ladki Hai Kahan and Dedh Bigha Zameen lined up.
