The second half of Scoop on Netflix is set in prison after Karishma Tanna's character Jagruti Pathak gets arrested for the alleged conspiracy of Jaidep Sen's (Prosenjit Chatterjee's) murder. The jail sequence starts with her character being frisked off and asked to strip until the actor almost bares it all. During an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Karishma was asked to decode the whole sequence and what mental space she was in while filming the screen.

The actor told us, "When I read the script, I knew that this frisking was going to happen. How will I be able to do it? So it was all very mixed emotions; a lot of thoughts were there in it. But then I knew that because it's Hansal Sir and it's Netflix, it's going to be very aesthetically shot."

Sharing further details, Karishma stated, "Hansal Sir shot it in a linear way, so we didn't shoot the jail sequence. The moment we reach Baroda, the first thing he shot was this frisking scene, so I feel naked, I feel humiliated, I feel broken from inside as Karishma Tanna, and also when you're doing the scene, you are Jagruti Pathak, of course."

The actor revealed that she, not just as Jigna but also as Karishma, "felt naked" while shooting the whole sequence. Karishma added, "So, you feel so broken, and you feel that my God, this is what happens when frisking is done; they are so ruthless; this is heartless behaviour. I was already broken, shattered, and feeling naked. And then we did all the jail sequence, so with that frisking part added, the intensity of my performance changed after that."

Hansal Mehta is the creator of Scoop, and Harman Baweja plays a key role in it. The series is currently streaming on Netflix.
