The 90s kids vs the 2000s kids is a never-ending debate but we can all agree regarding the fact the 2000s churned out some of the best animated and live-action series. After stumbling upon a few of the gems on OTT platforms, the series which we were glued to on TV in what seems like an erstwhile era, we have made a list of some great shows to check out for nostalgia’s sake. This is a great list for parents who want something engaging and kid-friendly on the small screen for their kids.

Take a look at some of these series from the golden era which are kid-friendly.  

Strawberry Shortcake

Dexter's Laboratory

The Powerpuff Girls

“Fighting crime, trying to save the world” is exactly what the Powerpuff Girls do! Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are the three badass girls with superpowers including super strength, super senses, super speed, night vision, thermal resistance etc after an experiment gone wrong to make “perfect little girls”. Their father is the scientist Professor Utonium and they are called by the police from time to time to fight criminals and their arch-nemesis, Mojo Jojo.
Mr. Bean: The Animated Series

The animated series is based upon the live-action Mr Bean, as it follows the titular character, getting himself tangled in problems that he creates himself and then goes about solving them. It is a hilarious and endearing show.
Totally spies

Totally Spies follow three students from Beverly Hills, hired as agents by WOOHP (World Organization of Human Protection). It looks at their dual lives: their adventures as spies and as regular students with normal drama.
The Adventures of Tenali Raman

Take a stroll down memory lane with the catchy title soundtrack of the series which started with “Tenali Raman”, segueing into melodious instrumental music. Previously airing on Cartoon Network, visit the kingdom of Vijayanagara as it followed the benevolent ruler of the kingdom and his smart and witty court poet, Tenali Raman. A beautiful amalgamation of history and entertainment.
