Adrushya

Based on the 2010 Spanish movie Los Ojos de Julia, Adrushya is a Marathi film directed by Kabir Lal. It tells the story of Sanika, a woman who recently lost her twin sister Sayli, supposedly to suicide. She is told that Sayli suffered from a condition that meant that she would progressively become blind and that soon, she too would suffer from the same. After receiving an eye donation and gaining her sight back, Sanika sets out to find out the real truth behind her sister’s death and who may be responsible. This mystery thriller stars Manjari Fadnis, Pushkar Jog, Anant Jog, Ajay Kumar Singh, and a special appearance by Riteish Deshmukh, among others.
