Dhunki

Dhunki is a Gujarati drama film released in the year 2019 which is directed and co-written and co-produced by Anish Shah. The film stars some of the amazing Gujarati actors of today’s time like Deeksha Joshi, Pratik Gandhi, Kaushambi Bhatt and Vishal Shah. The storyline of this film revolves around Nikunj’s life and how he wanna drop his job to fulfill his dream. Nikunj, played by Pratik Gandhi and Shreya, played by Deeksha Joshi, works together in a software company. Nikunj is overloaded with work and hence because of some clashes he quits his job. After thinking a lot and while finding new ideas, he decides to pursue his passion for cooking. He takes Shreya onboard too. And then they both face the challenges together. The actors in the film are passing the message of “Follow your dreams and passion no matter how hard things or life gets” in a perfect way. The cinematography, performances, production, sound and everything is excellent. For this film, Deeksha Joshi and Kaushambi Bhatt won awards for Best Actress-Gujarati at Critics Choice Film Awards 2020 award and Best Supporting Actress at Gujarati Iconic Film Award, respectively.
