Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana

A mild-mannered cop named Brahmaiah gets transferred to Mangaladevi, the coastal and cultural town of Mangaluru, which is infested by gang violence propagated by the gangster duo, Shiva and Hari. While everyone is aware that Hari was born and brought up in Mangaladevi, no one knows of Shiva’s origins. Shiva is feared for his ferocious temper and the fury that he unleashes when his loved ones are meddled with, which benefits Hari as he is protected by Shiva's love for him. But things fall apart as Hari's greed leads him to associate with a senior gangster and businessman named Raviraj — which drives Shiva and Hari apart. Brahmaiah, with help from a police driver, acts as a secret double agent in both Shiva and Hari's gangs to end the gang violence consuming the town. Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana is a Kannada gangster drama film written and directed by Raj B. Shetty, who also features in the lead role alongside Rishab Shetty. The film also features performances from Gopal Krishna Deshpande (who also serves as the narrator), Anil Uppala, V.J. Vineeth, Jyothish Shetty, Deepak Rai Paanaaje, Prakash Thuminad, and Shanil Guru. Produced by Ravi Rai Kalasa and Vachan Shetty, under the banner of Lighter Buddha Films, the film's music has been scored by Midhun Mukundan. The film has garnered universal critical acclaim upon release with it making it into Film Companion's FC Gold List of Films, with the film and Raj B. Shetty being nominated for various awards and winning the award for Best Director - Kannada at the 67th Filmfare Awards South.
