Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani

Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani, a 1970 movie, is directed by T.Prakash Rao. It is a Bollywood family drama movie starring Balraj Sahni, Nirupa Roy, and Om Prakash in the leads. The film revolves around a family who is living on one man’s salary of Rs 630 and is unable to meet all of their demands. Shankarnath is an honest and sincere government employee, whereas Sadhuram,a corrupt employee. While Shankarnath fails to fulfill every demand of his three children, Ravi, Roopa, and Raja, they all decide to go on a hunger strike. Failing to make his children understand, Shankarnath gives his entire salary of one month to Ravi to care for the household. Later, Ravi tries to plan on how to use the money to make everyone happy and save some as well, but it all goes in vain when Raja loses all the money in gambling.
