Gundello Godari

Directed by Kumar Nagendra, Gundello Godari is a 2013 Telugu Tamil language drama starring Taapsee Pannu, Aadhi Pinisetty & Lakshmi Panchu. The film is based on the BVS Rama Rao's novel Godavari Kathalu. The plot of the movie thickens when a devastating flood hits a village near Rajahmundry and Malli & Chitra are fighting against it to survive. Malli and Chitra are newly wed couples and when they see the flood situation getting worse they open up about the darkest moments of their past after they find shelter. Malli, a fisherman who aims to own a fishing boat of his own works under a exploiting Fishing merchant but things go for a toss when his boss finds about the affair between him and his daughter. Chitra too opens about harassment filled work environments. Their lives for survival are fighting, will they win?
