Kahaani

A Hindi mystery-thriller movie written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Set to the backdrop of Bengal during the Durga puja festival along with a back score by Clinton Cerejo, Vidya Balan, Parambrata Chatterjee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Indraneil Sengupta and Saswata Chatterjee play major roles in the movie. The film follows Vidya Bagchi, a pregnant woman who arrives in Kolkata in search of her missing husband. Sub-inspector Rana helps Vidya in her investigation but the duo continue to hit dead-ends when everybody they encounter firmly asserts that Vidya's husband never existed and she is hugely mistaken. Despite this, she continues in pursuit of answers- will she find what she's looking for or something even more sinister?
