Maharasan

Maharasan is a Tamil comedy-drama directed by Rangarajan G N. The film portrays a simple life led by a butcher Vadivelu and his sister, who live in a small village, living life on their own terms. The situation changes when a woman named Selvi falls in love with Vadivelu and wants to marry him. On the other hand, Vadivelu wants his sister married before focusing on his life. To make this happen, Selvi starts helping Vadivelu search for a groom. Amidst all this, they must also fight against certain injustices that prevail in the village. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Bhanupriya, Ramesh Aravind, Goundamani, Senthil, Vadivelu, V.K Ramasamy, Vadivukkarasi and Chandrasekhar in prominent roles.
