Directed by Syed Ali Raza Usama, Main Hoon Shahid Afridi is a 2013 Urdu language sports film starring Javed Shaikh, Humanyun Saeed, Noman Habib & Nadeem Baig. Akbar Deen, a cricketer is dragged into prison for a crime he never committed. He can't play cricket thereafter. Akbar gets out after so many years and tries to reason out the things that happened with him in the past. Shahid, a young boy aspiring to become a cricketer and meet Shahid Afridi participates in a tournament where Akbar joins as a coach. What happens after is a series of emotional and professional setbacks and set forward events in Shahid and Akbar's life.
