Raangi is an action-packed, dramatic thriller film directed by M. Saravanan and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran. The film stars Trisha Krishnan in the lead role. She plays the character of an online channel reporter named Thaiyal Nayagi who comes to know that a boy named Aalim from Libya is chatting with her niece through Facebook. Aalim is apparently wanted by the FBI and is a noted criminal. The FBI decides to use Thaiyal and her niece to catch Aalim. Anaswara Rajan and John Mahendran are the other prominent actors in this film.
