Sarfarosh

Sarfarosh is a 199 Indian Hindi - language written, produced and directed by John Matthew Matthan. It is an action drama film starring Aamir Khan, Sonali Bendre, Naseeruddin Shah and Mukesh Rishi. The film follows the story of ACP Ajay Singh Rathod who lives in Mumbai. He is a big fan of the Pakistani singer Gulfam and usually attends his concerts. In one such concert, he meets his old love, Seema. The two are happy to meet and fall in love with time. Ajay also bonds well with Gulfam. On the other hand, Inspector Salim, a Muslim officer is taken off the special task force because he failed earlier and due to his negligence, police department lost a big terrorist and 3 policemen died in the process. Even though Ajay was his junior, he was given the position. Salim thought this was all because of his caste. Ajay joined the police force as his brother was killed and father was kidnapped by some terrorists. Therefore, he wanted to take revenge. He asked Salim for help as he was more experienced but Salim refused. Eventually, Salim came on board and the two started their mission to catch the terrorists but Ajay does not know that Gulfam is also with the terrorists.
