One of humankind’s greatest accomplishments has been landing and walking on the moon’s surface. Behind this marvellous feat by the crew of Apollo 11 in 1969 lies the hard work and dedication of a significant number of people that participated in the space race, both from the US and the USSR, leading to a phenomenal breakthrough in space explorations. Directed by Evan Clarke, the documentary film celebrates both the nations that contributed to the advancement of astronomy with their neck-to-neck competition in conquering space, which eventually resulted in NASA's historic Apollo moon missions.
