Universal Soldier: Regeneration

"Universal Soldier: Regeneration" is a 2010 action/sci-fi film directed by John Hyams. The plot follows the return of the superhuman soldiers, Luc Deveraux, played by Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Andrew Scott, played by Dolph Lundgren, who are reactivated by the government to combat terrorists who have taken over the Chernobyl nuclear plant. They must also deal with the arrival of a new, stronger model of the Universal Soldier, NGU, who has gone rogue and has his agenda. As Deveraux and Scott race against time to stop NGU and save the hostages, they must also confront their demons and unresolved issues. The film features intense action sequences and special effects, as well as exploring themes of redemption and the cost of war.
