Walking the memory lane
It was exactly on 9 September 2022 when the Ayan Mukerji directed ‘Brahmastra: Part One’ was released. The film starred a dream cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in the lead roles. As the film clocks one year, Alia Bhatt took to social media and shared a video that had a collage of some of the most memorable moments from the film.
Alia Bhatt gets nostalgic
After sharing the video collage, Alia Bhatt captioned the video as “A piece of our hearts... Can’t believe it’s already been a wholeeeee year Love & Light always”. The said video features some of the most precious moments which Alia Bhatt had compiled. Be it Alia Bhatt hugging the film’s director Ayan Mukerji from his back while he is busy explaining a scene or the film’s lead pair’s (Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor) first look test or even the first prep trip to Tel Aviv… you can find glimpses of all these in the video post. This is followed by Alia Bhatt mischievously observing Ayan Mukerji while he is busy meditating on a flight, the film’s first schedule wrap and the awesome ‘Varanasi Nights’!
Candid moments of Brahmastra
What follows next is an extremely petrified Ranbir Kapoor sitting on a chair with a towel on his head! Well, the caption that followed this (someone just hated the rain sequence) made it clear that Ranbir Kapoor hated the rain sequence! Next in ‘sequence’ is the careful observation by Ayan Mukerji at the film’s vfx scenes that involves a rotating car. All of these are followed by glimpses of photographs that made ‘Brahmastra’ a film to reckon with in the years to come.
Earlier in the day, Ayan Mukerji had taken to social media and shared a ‘nostalgic post’ with the caption, “Happy 1st Birthday, Brahmastra! Thank you for all the Creativity, all the HardWork, and for all the Lessons in Film-making, and in Life ! P.S.: Will share some early artwork from the next stage of the Brahmāstra journey in a bit…!”.
Ayan Mukerji shares an important update
In his next post, Ayan shared an interesting update about the film's second part. He wrote, "BRAHMĀSTRA - PART TWO: DEV. Early Concept Art Work; it has been a few months of working steadily on the vision and story for Brahmāstra 2 and 3! On this special day for Team Brahmāstra, felt like sharing a few key images of our inspiration. #brahmastra2 #DEV. (sic)"
