The full list from BAFTA is now out and some of the most popular shows across the globe found recognition. The awards took place at London’s Royal Festival Hall. The nominees for the same were announced back in March 2024. Succession, Top Boy and Squid Game: The Challenge were among those who bagged the awards. Here’s the full list of winners and where you can watch the shows on OTT…

Best Drama Series, Best Supporting Actress: Jasmine Jobson, Top Boy – Netflix

Top Boy is a popular series on Netflix and is about the fight between drug gangs and those who strive to live with honesty in the same vicinity. All the seasons of the British crime drama are out for streaming.

Best International Series: Class Act – Netflix

Class Act is also available on Netflix. It is a mini series which tells the tale of real life former secretary of state for cities of France, Bernard Tapie. From being a singer to a businessman, and minister to a prisoner, he believes he’s an outstanding public figure. Of course, Bernard drew both criticism and admiration for his work through his active years (1989-1996).

Best Reality: Squid Game: The Challenge – Netflix

Who doesn’t know Squid Game? The Korean reality-show based drama series was back and with real people. Squid Game: The Challenge can now be streamed on Netflix.

Best Scripted Comedy: Such Brave Girls – Hulu and Apple TV

Available on Hulu as well as Apple TV, Such Brave Girls is the story of a dysfunctional single-parent family. A single mother raises two daughters as they try to be a normal family again, sans the father.

Best Limited Drama, Best Leading Actor: Timothy Spall, The Sixth Commandment – Apple TV

A British true crime drama series, The Sixth Commandment unfolds what happened after Peter Farquhar and Ann Moore-Martin’s demise in Maids Moreton, Buckinghamshire. The same can be streamed on Apple TV.

Best Leading Actress: Sarah Lancashire, P&O Cruises Memorable Moment: Catherine Cawood for Happy Valley – Amazon Prime Video

Sarah is seen in the lead role of Catherine Cawood, who the story revolves around. A police sergeant by profession, Catherine unwillingly finds herself involved in something that is absolutely different from what her job is. Three seasons of the series are now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Best Supporting Actor: Matthew MacFadyen for Succession – JioCinema (after acquiring Disney+Hotstar)

Available on JioCinema and Amazon Prime Video, the satirical black comedy-drama series Succession is about the power struggle within the Roy family after Waystar RoyCo’s patriarch decides to retire. The show has been lauded in the past and continues to receive applauds. Matthew plays the role of Tom Wambsgans, in-law to the Roy family and Waystar executive who just received a promotion.

Best Single Documentary – Ellie Simmonds: Finding My Secret Family

Available only in the UK currently, Ellie Simmonds: Finding My Secret Family is yet to find an Indian OTT release.
