Aadujeevitham - Prithviraj Sukumaran wants his daughter Alankrita to watch the Blessy directorial

Aadujeevitham actor Prithviraj Sukumaran established himself as one of the most influential celebs of Malayalam cinema with his contributions as an actor, director, and producer. The actor is now set to release his ambitious survival drama, on March 28, 2024. Earlier, Prithviraj revealed that never let his daughter Alankrita aka Ally watch his films, and his statement irked a section of netizens. However, the actor-director recently stated that he wants his daughter to watch Aadujeevitham.

During the recently held Aadujeevitham press meet, Prithviraj Sukumaran revealed that he wants his daughter Alankrita to watch the much-awaited project, that too immediately after its release. The actor-director's revelation took the media and audiences by surprise, as he had earlier stated that Ally never watched any of his films. For the uninitiated, Prithviraj and his wife, journalist-producer Supriya Menon had decided that their daughter should not watch her father’s films, until she is old enough.

In his recent chat with the media, the multi-faceted talent also explained the motive behind this decision. According to Prithviraj, other kids can watch his films and enjoy them, as he is only familiar to them as an actor. However, things are different when it comes to Alankrita, as she only views him as her dear ‘Dadda’. So, the couple decided to not introduce Ally to the actor’s films, until she was ready to differentiate between her father and Prithviraj, the actor. But now, both the Aadujeevitham actor and his wife feel that their daughter should watch the Blessy directorial on the big screen.

Prithviraj as Najeeb Muhammed in Aadujeevitham

For the uninitiated, Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing the central character Najeeb Muhammed in Aadujeevitham, which is based on Benyamin’s famous novel of the same name. The actor went through a drastic physical transformation for his role. Initially, Prithviraj had to put on some weight, to portray the happy and healthy phase in his character’s life. The actor weighed around 97 kilos, at that time.

Later, the actor shed precisely 31 kilos in a timespan of less than 6 months, for the second look of the character. However, the Aadujeevitham team decided to keep the visuals of the actor’s most extreme transformation under wraps, until the film releases. From the promotional visuals that have been dropped on the internet so far, it is evident that Prithviraj Sukumaran has delivered the finest performance of his career so far, in the upcoming Blessy directorial.
