Tiffany Haddish was arrested in the wee hours of Friday, November 24, for DUI in Beverly Hills. The previous night she had performed at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood, for the club’s annual free Thanksgiving Feast’s 43rd edition. Sadly, the Beverly Hills Police Department acted upon a welfare call on someone who had apparently parked their car in the middle of some traffic lanes.

The police received a call around 5.45 am and responded by visiting the scene to find a sleeping Tiffany asleep at the wheel of her vehicle. Thankfully, neither the actress, nor anyone else was injured, nor had any accidents taken place. Tiffany Haddish, reportedly, went handcuffed peacefully with the police.

She will be released only after receiving a DUI citation and will have to appear for a hearing in court on December 4. However, this is not the actress’ first DUI. She was previously arrested under similar drowsy circumstances, back in January 2022, in Atlanta. Back then, the cops had believed her to be under the influence of marijuana and also arrested her for improper stopping on a roadway.

Tiffany Haddish had chuckled about her first DUI a few weeks after it took place, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She said, “I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four- in uniform.”

The comic acknowledged that though the legal complications were previously unexpected, now she has got a “great lawyer.” Her finishing line on the issue was iconic, “I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!”
